In Summary

Luis Enrique, who won the treble with Barcelona in 2015, is looking to become the first coach of a French team to win the treble.

At Stade de France in Saint-Denis on Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Stade de Reims in the 2024/25 Coupe de France final with a lot on the line for both sides.

Luis Enrique, who won the treble with Barcelona in 2015, is looking to become the first coach of a French team to win the treble, as the Parisians prepare for their second-ever UEFA Champions League final against Inter at the Allianz Arena in Munich next weekend.

Reims, on the other hand, have endured a tough campaign, with Samba Diawara replacing Luka Elsner in late February as they battled against relegation.

Diawara’s first game was to defeat Angers in the quarter-finals of the cup, and they appeared to have massively turned a corner, moving clear of the danger zone after the March international break.

However, they slipped into the relegation play-off place on the final day of the season last weekend and this cup final actually falls in the middle of that decisive play-off against Metz.

Paris Saint-Germain have been simply superb throughout the season, with Enrique cultivating a slick and energetic side that works extremely well as a cohesive team.
