One person has been killed on the spot and two others injured in yet another road crash at Kinungi.
According to St. John Ambulance, the incident involved a pickup that rammed into a truck at Kwa Makara, Kinungi along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.
Responders from the EMS service provided first aid and ensured the injured were taken to Naivasha Sub-County Hospital.
This comes less than 12 hours after another accident at Kinungi Soweto, also along the busy Nairobi-Nakuru Highway, left 16 people injured and were rushed to the same hospital for specialized care.
St John Ambulance Kenya reported that 16 people were injured when a personal car had a head-on collision with a matatu.
The personal car had its front end caved in after the accident, with the matatu also sustaining damage on the front right-hand side.
Most of the damage was on the driver's side bumper and door.
On Saturday March 1, another accident along the same highway (Nairobi-Nakuru) claimed the lives of two people at Nyakairu area.
