Dela Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Yussuf Hussein who had been missing since September last year has been found alive and reunited with his family.

According to his family, Yussuf is in good health and spirits.
Eldas Member of Parliament Adan Keynan, a relative of Yusuf confirmed his return, saying they will release more details about Yussuf’s disappearance and return at a later date.
The news sparked celebrations on Saturday evening in several areas including Eastleigh Nairobi.
Similar celebrations took place in Pangani, where Yussuf’s family lives, as well as in Wajir County.
Wajir County Woman Representative Fatuma Abdi too to her socials to express her gratitude early Sunday morning, also taking to social media to share an update and snapshots of the now free MCA.

"No words but to say Alhamdullilah! Welcome hon me our MCA Hon Yussuf Tolfiyow", posted the Woman Rep on X.
Meanwhile Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi also expressed relief on his X platform over the news.
"Alhamdulillah! I am happy to have received the good news of Hon. Yussuf Hussein’s safe return and reunion with his family after months of uncertainty. Since his disappearance in September last year, the people of Wajir have endured a painful period of anxiety, prayers, and unwavering hope for his safe return," posted the governor.
The news of his reunion brings immense relief and joy to our community. It is a moment of gratitude and renewed hope for his family and all those who stood by them during these difficult times, he added.
Yussuf’s six-month disappearance had raised widespread concern in Wajir County and Kenya.
