30 KMTC campuses offer support as KUCCPS deadline nears on July 7

As the application window for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake nears closure, KUCCPS has opened 30 centres across the country to support applicants struggling with the process.
In a notice issued on Friday, July 4, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) urged interested candidates to visit any of the listed KMTC campuses for help before the deadline on Monday, July 7.
“Applying for the KMTC September 2025 Intake? Remember, the application deadline is 7/7/2025,” KUCCPS reminded.
“Don’t be stuck. Visit the following KMTC campuses or any other KMTC campus near you for application support and guidance,” the agency added.
The support centres include campuses in Burnt Forest, Gatundu, Mbita (Homa Bay), Imenti, Isiolo, Iten, Ikolomani (Kakamega), Kapkatet, Karen (Nairobi), and Kerio Valley.
Also on the list are Kilifi, Kitui-Mutomo, Kuria, Lamu, Loitokitok, Lugari, Machakos-Mbuvo, Manza, Mbooni, Meru, Migori, Nakuru, and Nyamache.
Others offering walk-in assistance are KMTC centres in Nyamira, Rera, Siaya, Ugenya, Vihiga, and Yatta.
The application portal opened on Tuesday, June 24, and will stay open until Sunday, July 7.
KUCCPS called on all eligible candidates to make use of the support services to ensure they meet the deadline.
"Announcement! The KUCCPS online system is open for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake application," KUCCPS announced earlier.
Applicants are also allowed to seek assistance at any Huduma Centre across the country during the application period.
Those eligible to apply include individuals who attempted KUCCPS placement between January and June 2025 but were not placed.
Also eligible are 2024 KCSE candidates who have not yet applied, as well as those who sat KCSE between 2000 and 2024 and have never been admitted to KMTC.
A total of 36 certificate and diploma programmes are available.
Some of the diploma courses open for application include Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Public Health, Kenya Registered Nursing, Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Health Counselling, Health Promotion, Mortuary Science, Occupational Therapy, and Optometry.
Certificate-level courses include Medical Emergency Technician, Health Insurance Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing.
Applicants are required to submit their applications through the KUCCPS student portal before the set deadline.
