“It’s a really special feeling” – Dua Lipa on getting engaged

The 29-year-old shared the news during an interview with British Vogue, calling the decision to commit to Turner “a really special feeling.”
Singer Dua Lipa has confirmed she is engaged to actor Callum Turner, describing the moment as exciting and deeply meaningful.
The 29-year-old shared the news during an interview with British Vogue, calling the decision to commit to Turner “a really special feeling.”
"Yeah, we're engaged," she said. "It's very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever – it's a really special feeling."
The two have been in a relationship for almost a year and a half. Turner, 35, is best known for his roles in Fantastic Beasts, Masters of the Air, and his 2020 BAFTA-nominated performance in The Capture.
Speculation about their engagement first surfaced last Christmas when Lipa posted photos wearing a ring. She has now revealed that Turner had the ring made especially for her, after speaking to her best friends and sister.
"It's so me. It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well," she said.
Despite the excitement, the couple have not set a wedding date. Lipa is currently on a world tour which runs until December, finishing in Mexico, while Turner is busy filming.
He is set to star in the lead role of Neuromancer, an upcoming Apple TV sci-fi series based on William Gibson’s 1984 novel.
For now, Lipa said they are simply enjoying this stage of their relationship.
"We're just enjoying this period," she told Vogue. "I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I'm like, 'Oh, what would I wear?"'
