The NFL has announced that Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, scheduled for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The performance will be produced in partnership with Roc Nation and DPS, with renowned director Hamish Hamilton leading the show’s staging.

The decision has been framed as more than just a musical choice. With millions of viewers worldwide, the Super Bowl halftime show is a global cultural stage, and selecting Bad Bunny is widely seen as a recognition of Latin music’s meteoric rise and influence.

Born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, Bad Bunny has become one of the most influential artists of his generation, boasting multiple Grammy Awards, a record-breaking global tour and collaborations that have reshaped mainstream pop.

His music blends infectious rhythms with sharp commentary, often addressing themes of Puerto Rican identity, colonial legacies and social justice.

His latest album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, released earlier this year, leans heavily into cultural and political storytelling, cementing his role as both an entertainer and a cultural ambassador.

NFL Head of Music Jon Barker said Bad Bunny’s ability to connect across languages, genres and communities made him the right choice, while Roc Nation’s Jay-Z praised him as an artist who stands for his people, his culture and for progress.”

The show will be executive-produced by Jesse Collins alongside Roc Nation, continuing a partnership that has brought groundbreaking halftime performances in recent years.

Bad Bunny follows Kendrick Lamar with special guest SZA, who headlined the Super Bowl LIX halftime show in 2025 in New Orleans, delivering a high-energy set that drew widespread acclaim for its blend of dance anthems and striking visuals.

His selection signals the NFL’s continued effort to diversify its stage, moving seamlessly from global pop to Latin superstars.
