The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened applications for placement to Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) programmes to be completed through the KUCCPS Students’ Portal, with the deadline set for October 14, 2025.
In a statement released on its official platform on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the agency emphasised that all applications must be submitted digitally within the two-week window.
“KUCCPS invites applications for placement to KMTC programmes,” the agency stated, urging prospective students to submit their applications through the designated online portal.
According to KUCCPS, students can view available KMTC programmes, their requirements, and the campuses offering them by visiting the official KUCCPS Students’ Portal; http://students.kuccps.ac.ke/programmes/search-kmtc/.
The portal provides applicants with detailed information to guide their choices based on individual qualifications and preferred study locations.
The application period will strictly run for two weeks only, from October 1 to October 14, 2025. Students are advised to submit their applications early to avoid last-minute challenges, as the portal will automatically close once the deadline is reached.
By setting clear timelines, KUCCPS aims to ensure orderly processing of applications and timely communication to successful candidates.
The placement exercise covers a wide range of KMTC programmes across the institution’s campuses countrywide. These programmes are designed to train healthcare professionals who play a critical role in supporting Kenya’s health system.
By inviting applications for these programmes, KUCCPS provides students with an opportunity to pursue careers in healthcare through a structured, transparent placement process.
KUCCPS assured applicants that the process remains competitive but fair, guided by merit, student choices, and available capacity at KMTC campuses. The institution reiterated its role in expanding access to higher learning opportunities across the country.
“KUCCPS invites application for placement to KMTC programmes,” the announcement repeated, signalling its commitment to transparent student placement.
The KUCCPS announcement marks a significant opportunity for aspiring healthcare professionals to secure placement at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), a leading institution in medical training.
The process underscores the government’s commitment to transparent, technology-driven admissions.
By directing applicants to the official KUCCPS Students’ Portal, the agency ensures fairness, efficiency, and easy access to programme details across all campuses.
Students are encouraged to apply early, align their choices with the requirements provided, and take advantage of this structured pathway towards contributing to Kenya’s healthcare system.
