He stressed the importance of law enforcement agencies collaborating closely to safeguard communities and mitigate the devastating impact of terrorism.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Counter Terrorism Senior Investigators Course held at the KBC Leadership Centre in Karen, Nairobi,  Amin highlighted that the knowledge and skills gained by participants would significantly enhance the precision and efficiency of terrorism-related investigations.

The two-week course, attended by 14 officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations’ Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU), focused on equipping participants with advanced leadership skills and investigative expertise tailored to combating terrorism.

The training aimed to strengthen their capacity to tackle complex terror cases effectively.

Neil Wigan, OBE, the United Kingdom High Commissioner to Kenya, urged the course participants to apply their newly acquired skills to counter terrorism within the country.

The High Commissioner commended the DCI for its collaboration with the United Kingdom in bolstering law enforcement efforts.
