The economy has remained resilient-CS Mbadi

CS Mbadi" The economy has remained resilient, recording an average growth rate of 5.2% for the years 2023 and 2024. In 2024, the economy grew by 4.7%, supported by positive growth in all sectors except construction and mining."

He adds that, "This growth was lower compared to 5.7% in 2023, mainly due to the adverse effects of floods in the second quarter and the anti-finance bill protests in the third quarter of 2024 that disrupted economic activities."
