The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued a notice alerting the public of a planned traffic interruption near the Naivas JKIA area along the busy highway.
According to the statement, the disruption will affect the Mombasa-bound service lanes between 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
KeNHA explained that the temporary closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of pre-fabricated beams for the Syokimau Railway Footbridge.
Motorists are urged to adhere to the alternative traffic routes provided in the management plan and to cooperate with police officers and traffic marshals who will be on site to direct vehicles.
