"If there’s a team that can turn around a 3-0 loss, it’s Real Madrid. The Madridistas will be with us," he believes.

Kylian Mbappe says that the 3-0 first-leg defeat to Arsenal in North London will not be the end of their UEFA Champions League campaign this season as they are confident they can overturn the deficit at the Bernabéu.

Led by a brace from the star of the night, Declan Rice, the Gunners will take a three-goal lead to the second leg in Madrid next week, knowing a solid defensive display will send them through to the last four.

However, Madrid players are not the type to give up.

"The comeback is possible, of course. We have to believe until the end," Mbappe told Broadcast Media after the clash.

His counterpart Jude Bellingham also opines that the opportunity to win in Madrid and overturn the first-leg deficit is too good a goal to aspire to and says his teammates will be ready for the challenge.

"Arsenal were really good! They could have had way more; we were lucky to get away with three. We’re going to need something unbelievable," he stated.

Defender Raul Asensio is also of the opinion that they are not out just yet, even though the task at hand looks insurmountable.

"This isn’t over yet. One more game at the Bernabéu. We’re already thinking about it," he offered.

As for Lucas Vazquez, he believes that Madrid fans will show up in large numbers next Wednesday to cheer them over the line.

"If there’s a team that can turn around a 3-0 loss, it’s Real Madrid. The Madridistas will be with us," he believes.

With the away goals rule no longer in place, Real need at least three unanswered goals to take the clash to extra time. A four-goal lead will see them qualify automatically for the semifinals.
