Mombasa-bound service lane near JKIA to close for 13 hours

The disruption will affect the Mombasa-bound service lanes from Saturday, June 14, at 9 pm to Sunday, June 15, at 10 am.
A section of Mombasa Road near Naivas JKIA will be closed to traffic for 13 hours to allow for the installation of footbridge beams, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced.
The disruption will affect the Mombasa-bound service lanes from Saturday, June 14, at 9 pm to Sunday, June 15, at 10 am.
“This is to allow for installation of the fabricated footbridge beams of the Syokimau Railway Footbridge,” said KeNHA in a public notice issued on June 8.
Motorists are advised to follow the traffic management plan and obey instructions from police officers and traffic marshals at the site.
KeNHA urged the public to cooperate to ensure safety and smooth flow during the works.
