In Summary

The Sugarmen had previously won the Enterprise Cup in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024,

Kabras Sugar RFC proved to be too good and strong for the Menengai Oilers as they ran out 33-12 winners at the ASK Showground in Nakuru Town to lift their fourth consecutive Enterprise Cup.

They've now completed yet another trophy double in the local rugby scene after winning the Kenya Cup yet again two weeks ago.

Kabras, who faced the Oilers in the Kenya Cup Final in Kakamega, sneaking through with a 27-26 win were the better side and dominated all aspects of the game to collect their fifth Enterprise Cup.

Kabras have now also completed a trophy double, winning both Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup in the same season in four consecutive seasons: 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 with three of those campaigns being unbeaten.

The Sugarmen had previously won the Enterprise Cup in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024, while Oilers were hunting for their maiden title.

Eventually the experienced Kabras carried the day thanks in no small part to flyhalf Ntabeni Dukisa.

Dukisa opened the scoring after 21 minutes with a penalty after the Oilers had made several infringements, and he would play a part in their first try of the day as his sleek build up released Hillary Odhiambo who broke through and supplied a pass to Center Walter Okoth to barge through and make it 8-0, five minutes to the break.

Dukisa converted to make it 10-0.

Kabras made it 15-0 just before half time, with Alfred Orege scoring at the corner flag following great passing from Dukisa and Barry Robinson for a large halftime lead.

The second half saw Kabras extend their lead to 18-0 thanks to Dukisa's boot.

The Oilers though, responded through Beldad Ogeta with Richard Omela converting to make it 18-7.

Gabriel Adero and Griffin Chao then added two more tries to make it 30-7 with Dukisa adding the extras.

Oilers pulled one back through Samuel Ovwamu to make it 30-12 but then Dukisa again scored from the boot to hand Kabras yet another title and ensure that they again finished the 15-a side-season without facing defeat.
