Scott Mescudi, took the witness stand on Thursday in the ongoing case against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Rapper Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, took the witness stand on Thursday in the ongoing case against Sean "Diddy" Combs, confirming he briefly dated Cassie Ventura in 2011.

He told the court he knew she had a history with Combs but believed they were no longer involved at the time.

Ventura had earlier told the court that her relationship with Cudi angered Combs and claimed the music mogul made violent threats against both of them.

When Cudi entered the courtroom, Combs turned sharply in his chair to look at him.

Dressed in a leather jacket over a white t-shirt, Cudi identified photos of Combs and Ventura before confirming they first met at a New York event in 2008 and later collaborated on music.

Combs’ former executive assistant George Kaplan also testified, describing a violent incident on a private jet in 2015.

He told the court he heard glass break, turned around, and saw Ventura lying on her back with Combs standing over her holding a liquor glass.

Ventura screamed, “Is anybody seeing this?” but Kaplan said no one on board intervened.

When asked why he didn’t help, Kaplan responded, "I was 23 years old, all I wanted to do was to have a great job in the entertainment industry. I couldn’t believe I was working for this icon."

Kaplan, now 34, said he worked for Combs from 2013 to 2015, often clocking between 80 and 100 hours a week.

He described Combs as a demanding boss who threatened his job monthly.

In one instance, Combs yelled at him for bringing two half-gallon bottles of water instead of one full gallon.

Kaplan testified that he regularly cleaned hotel rooms, picked up baby oil left around the room, and arranged toiletries to protect Combs’ public image.

He began his career as an assistant at Nickelodeon before following his boss to Combs Enterprises, where he became one of Combs’ most trusted employees.
