Harambee Stars striker Omala cleared to feature for Gor Mahia

With eight matches left to play this season, Gor are just three points behind leaders Kenya Police who have 49 points.
Harambee Stars striker Benson Omala has been cleared to feature for Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia.
Omala, who has been playing his trade with Lebanese outfit Al Safa FC, has been unavailable for Gor as he was yet to secure an international transfer certificate to play.
He quit the Lebanese side in January this year, citing unfulfilled promises, and rejoined Gor in the recently ended transfer window.
Omala was top scorer for Gor with 19 goals last season, and his return has been taken with good spirits at the club and will boost Gor coach Sinisa Mihic, who says that Omala's numbers are good enough to win them the Premier League title this season.
Gor announced the news on Thursday in a social media.
"Striker Benson Omalla is now free to play for us after being cleared by FIFA; the player has been training with us for sometime as we wait for clearance. We officially welcome Omalla back to the team. Kasonge sasa," read the message from Gor.
With eight matches left to play this season, Gor are just three points behind leaders Kenya Police who have 49 points.
Gor are on 46 with a game in hand.
