Kindiki emphasized that the administration is committed to maximizing its achievements before the 2027 elections.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has stated that the Kenya Kwanza government is focused solely on delivering its manifesto pledges, not engaging in political rivalries.

Addressing residents during an economic empowerment forum in Igegania, Gatundu North, Kiambu County, Kindiki emphasized that the administration is committed to maximizing its achievements before the 2027 elections and has no time to spare on distractions.

The Deputy President emphasized that the government is fully focused on delivering its promises, stating that they are driven by their manifesto and the commitment they made to the Kenyan people.

He stressed that it is indeed possible for a government to be elected based on its agenda and actually fulfill that agenda.

"We have a clear mission ahead. Our goal is to implement as many pledges as we can. We don’t have the luxury of wasting time," he said.

Addressing critics who claim to have superior political experience, the Deputy President dismissed such remarks, saying politics is not the current priority.

He underscored that every season has its purpose, and when the political season comes, everyone will be required to show what they have achieved.

Interior CS Kithure Kindiki echoed the sentiment, noting that many of those criticizing the government have served before and had their own chances to deliver.

"There are people mocking us, claiming we lack political strategy or campaign skills. But as scripture says, there is a season for everything—a time to sow, a time to reap; a time for politics and a time for work. Right now, our focus is on serving the country," he said.

Kindiki warned that when the right time for politics arrives, the government will be ready to engage, and their opponents will be surprised.

"When that season comes, we’ll take them on, and each person will have to present their track record. Those who call themselves our rivals had their moment in office, and they should also account for what they did for Kenyans," he concluded.
