President William Ruto has paid tribute to Dr J. Roy Stover, describing him as a transformative figure whose work as a teacher, pastor and community leader in Eldama Ravine left a lasting mark on many lives.

In a statement on Sunday, Ruto said Dr Stover's legacy of service and compassion would be remembered long after his passing.

“Our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and the Eldama Ravine community for the passing of Dr J. Roy Stover. Dr Stover will be remembered for his remarkable service as a teacher, pastor and community leader,” the President said.

He noted that Dr Stover had a meaningful and impactful presence in the community, using his position to uplift the vulnerable through education, spiritual guidance, and social initiatives.

“He touched many lives through his teachings and transformative initiatives that supported the vulnerable. His legacy will live on. Rest In Peace, Dr Stover,” Ruto said.

The President also extended his prayers to the family, friends and community, asking God to comfort them as they mourn.
