Nairobi County has announced a schedule for the inspection and stamping of weighing and measuring tools, which will run from August to November 2025.

The county directed all traders with such equipment to present them for checking at designated centres across different sub-counties on the specified dates.

According to the notice released on Friday, September 19, the exercise will be carried out at various locations, including police stations, chiefs’ offices, shopping centres, county offices and social halls in areas such as Westlands, Dagoretti, Langata, Kibra, Roysambu, Kasarani and Embakasi.

“All traders within a radius of twenty (20) kilometres of the places mentioned are required under the law to submit their weighing and measuring instruments for inspection and stamping,” part of the notice reads.
