Kabras Sugar will be looking to make it four Kenya Cup Rugby titles in a row after booking their spot in the final with a 45-6 demolition of Nondescripts at the Kabras Forest Grounds in Kakamega on Saturday.

Kabras are also in the final of the Enterprise Cup, where they will face Menengai Oilers.

Kabras, who have been dominant in the local 15 a side rugby competitions in recent years, took a 13-3 half time lead before dominating their rivals in the second half to pick up a place in the final where they will face Menengai Oilers who cruised past last year's finalists KCB 31-8 to book their place in the final.

Jackson Siketi scored two tries while Griffin Chao scored in the first half for Kabras. Nondies went a man down in the first half after Stormy Odhiambo was sent off for a high tackle on Ephraim Odour.

Patrice Lumumba, Alfred Orege and Collins Indeche scored in the second half for Kabras to extend their lead and earn a place in yet another Kenya Cup Final.

In Ruaraka, Nelson Makokha and Fortune Arturo gave the Oilers a 14-0 lead.

Timothy Omela did the rest with his boot as the Nakuru based Oilers led 20-8 at half time. Omela added two more penalties before Samuel Ovwamu finished off the clash with a well crafted try to seal the win.

With this result, the Oilers, will take their place in the ring for an interesting twin clash with Kabras Sugar in both the Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup competitions, a battle over who reigns supreme in the 2024/25 rugby season.

Kabras won both titles last season.

The Kenya Cup Final will be played April 12 2025 at the RFUEA grounds Nairobi.
