During his time at the Santiago Bernabéu, Modrić made nearly 600 appearances, scored 43 goals, and provided 95 assists. He played a pivotal role in securing 28 trophies for the club, including six UEFA Champions League titles, four LaLiga championships, and multiple domestic and international honours.

Modrić's final appearance at the Santiago Bernabéu is set to be against Real Sociedad in the last LaLiga game of the season. He will remain with the team through the Club World Cup before departing as a free agent.
In a heartfelt message, Modrić expressed his gratitude and pride in representing what he called "the most successful club in history."
He emphasized that Real Madrid would always be his home, marking the end of one of the most successful chapters in the club's history.
As he looks ahead, Modrić intends to continue his playing career, with potential interest from clubs in Serie A, particularly AC Milan and AS Roma, due to their appreciation for experienced players.
While he has not ruled out a move to Major League Soccer, he has dismissed the idea of joining the Saudi Pro League.
Modrić's departure signifies the end of an era at Real Madrid, as the club transitions to a new generation of talent.
