Nairobi City Stars and FC Talanta have officially been relegated from the Kenya Premier League top flight following the completion of the 2024/25 season on Sunday.

City Stars could only manage a 0-0 draw with Mathare United, while Talanta lost 1-0 to Murang'a Seal, with their relegation decided at San Sebastian Stadium.
Bidco United, who began the day bottom of the log, secured safety with a 2-1 success over Sofapaka as they finished on 35 points.

Posta Rangers, on the other hand, earned a point against Bandari in Mombasa to escape outright relegation. They will take on Naivas FC in a playoff to determine who makes it to the KPL next season.
Already, Nairobi United and APS Bomet have booked their spots in the top flight thanks to finishing first and second, respectively in the National Super League.
