CHAN ticket sales to begin Tuesday

The Local organizing committee for the 8th African Nations Championships CHAN, will roll out selling of match tickets tomorrow Tuesday, 15, July 2025.
While making the announcement, CHAN Local Organizing Committee chairman Nicholas Musonye, said all tickets will be sold online with regular tickets going for Sh200, Sh500 for VIP and Sh1,000 for VVIP category.
He urged Kenyans to show up in numbers to support the tournament which will be held on East African soil for the first time ever.
"The ticket prices are very friendly as you can see and we want to encourage all the fans that are interested to come out and support the various teams that will be in the country to compete in the tournament, Musonye said.
19 teams divided into four groups will compete in this year’s CHAN set to get underway on 2nd till 30th next month.
- Group A: Kenya, Morocco, Angola, DR Congo, Zambia.
- Group B: Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic.
- Group C: Uganda, Niger, Guinea, Algeria, South Africa.
- Group D: Senegal, Congo, Sudan, Nigeria.
Tanzania will play the Stallions from Burkina Faso in the opening match of the tournament on 2 August 2025 at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium in group B, before Kenya takes on two-time champion D.R Congo at Kasarani Stadium a day after.
Uganda will open their group C campaign on Monday, 4, August against Algeria at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
