AC Milan unwilling to sign Chelsea forward Joao Felix

Portugal forward Joao Felix will return to Chelsea after his loan deal expires, with AC Milan unwilling to sign the player, reports in the Italian Press said Tuesday.
Felix joined Milan on loan in January 2025 with the hope being that they would sign him permanently once the season was over, depending on performances.
It is now understood that Felix will not be signed by Milan.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports on Tuesday that Milan are not impressed by the Chelsea forward. Felix has failed to establish himself in the team and his numbers reflect his poor run of form.
In the 11 games that he has played for Milan, Felix has only found the back of the net once and has provided one assist.
With Felix set to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season, Chelsea will have to make a decision about the future of the 25-year-old attacker as it seems that he is not a part of Chelsea’s manager Enzo Maresca’s plans.
"AC Milan and João Félix won’t continue together beyond this season after loan deal from Chelsea. Feeling from beginning of March again confirmed now, with João expected to return to Chelsea," Romano said on his X platform on Tuesday.
"CFC will assess the situation in the summer to find a potential new club."
Following a breakthrough season in the Portuguese league with Benfica in 2018-19, Felix was bought by La Liga by Atletico Madrid.
After spending three and half years at the Spanish capital, Felix was loaned out to Chelsea and Barcelona, but he has failed to nail down a permanent place.
