Nyeri Golf Course will host the 19th leg of the 2025 KCB East Africa Golf Series this weekend, drawing over 250 golfers from across the region to compete for spots in the series grand finale in December.
The tournament, a highlight on the regional golfing calendar, will see the first round tee off at 6:30 am on Saturday, September 14, 2025, followed by an afternoon session starting at 12:30 pm.
This marks the third year in a row that Nyeri has hosted the series, reflecting the club’s excellent facilities and the strong partnership between KCB and the local golfing community.
The weekend will also feature a junior golf clinic on Sunday, giving young players practical exposure to the sport, while September 15's caddie tournament underscores the bank’s commitment to inclusivity and support for all participants in the golfing ecosystem.
The 2025 edition of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour has seen Sh80 million invested in elevating the sport across Kenya, with the series extending into Burundi and Uganda.
The top teams from each leg secure qualification for the grand finale, where the overall winning team will receive a Sh1 million prize to fund a sustainability project at their home club.
As the tour moves toward its conclusion, competition is expected to be fierce, with golfers vying for a chance to reach the final stage and claim the ultimate reward, reinforcing the series’ role in promoting elite golf in the region and positioning Kenya as a premier golfing destination.
