Jordan Pickford has committed his future to Everton, signing a new long-term contract that extends his stay at Goodison Park beyond his previous 2027 expiry. The agreement arrives as a reward for sustained excellence for club and country and removes lingering uncertainty over Everton’s No.1 at a pivotal moment in the season.

Pickford’s contract follows a run of standout international form that saw him set a national sequence of consecutive clean sheets and reinforce his reputation as one of England’s most dependable goalkeepers.

Those displays accelerated talks and persuaded the club to secure his services on improved terms.

Everton framed the deal as both a sporting and strategic statement. On the pitch Pickford remains central to the team’s defensive identity, marshaling the back line with authority and experience. Off it the extension protects a valuable, homegrown asset and steadies a dressing room heading into a demanding fixture list.

The new deal brings enhanced terms that reflect Pickford’s status and recent achievements and comes as Everton prepare to face Manchester City next weekend. The contract provides clarity and continuity in goal while underlining the club’s intent to build around proven talent.

Pickford has made 329 appearances for Everton since joining from boyhood club Sunderland. He has played a major role in helping Everton retain their Premier League status despite managerial sackings, financial rule breaches and points deductions in recent seasons.
