Taking a swipe at the now-familiar chant "Ruto Must Go," which has been widely adopted by the alliance, Junet dismissed it as tired and ineffective.

National Assembly Minority Leader Junet Mohamed has ridiculed the newly launched opposition alliance, describing it as aimless and lacking a concrete agenda for Kenyans.

While addressing congregants at an interdenominational church service in Migori County—an event graced by President William Ruto—Junet expressed disbelief that the coalition’s architects had yet to articulate a tangible plan for the citizenry.

Taking a swipe at the now-familiar chant "Ruto Must Go," which has been widely adopted by the alliance, Junet dismissed it as tired and ineffective.

"That slogan doesn’t require any formal unveiling. Anyone can grab a mic in Nairobi and shout it," said Junet.

"We’ve been hearing this story for decades—‘Moi Must Go’ was the slogan when I was still in primary school. Then came ‘Uhuru Must Go’ until his term ended."

Junet reaffirmed his backing for a national coalition committed to unity and fair development across all parts of the country.

"We’ve entered into ten agreements focused on uniting the nation, and we intend to honor them," he emphasized.

He also took the opportunity to pledge his loyalty to President Ruto, distancing himself from dissenting voices within the ODM party.

"I want to caution some leaders in ODM who sometimes cross the line—there’s no room for disrespecting the government or the Head of State. That’s their own political arrangement, not ours," Junet asserted.

"We know where we stand and where we are going. Let’s stay united as a country. Kenya is a multiparty democracy, and every party has its strongholds."

Ruto is in the county on a three-day development tour of the region.

Following a church service, the President is set to kick off the construction of a Technical Training Institute (TTI) and inaugurate the Deputy County Commissioner’s office in Piny Oyie, located in Suna West.

He will later head to Kuria West, where he is scheduled to officially launch the Kehancha Affordable Housing Project in Kehancha Town.

On Monday, his itinerary includes a visit to Rongo, where he will inspect the Kosir ESP Market and commission a new building at Rongo Comprehensive School.

He is also expected to make additional brief stops in Kosir and Rongo Town.

In Awendo, the President will preside over the groundbreaking ceremony for a new Animal Health Training Institute.

He will then proceed to Uriri to inspect the Uriri ESP Market and hand over a school bus to St. Pius Uriri High School during an event at Oria Market in North Kanyamkago.

Later in the day, he will travel to Nyatike to flag off the construction of the Muhuru Bay Pier, assess progress at the Muhuru Modern Market, and introduce the contractor tasked with developing the Muhuru-Masara Road.

On Tuesday, marking the final day of his tour, the President is expected to inspect the Ntimaru ESP Market as well as the Affordable Housing Project in Ntimaru Town.
