The UEFA Champions League returns tonight, with four mouth-watering ties set to be completed.

The centre piece of the clashes will be held in the North of England as PSG travel to the notoriously tough Anfield Stadium to take on the might of Liverpool.

The run away English Premier League leaders hold a 1-0 advantage from last week's first leg clash in Paris and with their home form in good stead, they will back themselves to go through.

PSV however, had the lions share of the chances and overall play and as such will be confident of getting a result. Head coach Luis Enrique says his side will be ready to battle.

" We have a plan but I won't tell you, Enrique chimed in his pre match press conference. We are here to battle. We will be ready.

They will have their work cut out as Liverpool will be hoping that top scorer Mohamed Salah will continue his red hot form. So far he has collected 40+ goals and assists this season in all competitions.

Elsewhere, Barcelona host Benfica in the early kick off, taking a 1-0 lead from the first leg in Portugal last week. The Spanish La Liga leaders will be confident of getting through. In 8 previous meetings with the Portuguese side, they have only lost once. Winning four and drawing three.

Barca have also never lost to Benfica at home in European competition, winning two and drawing two.

In Germany, Bayern Munich will make the short trip to Leverkusen carrying a healthy 3-0 first leg lead.

Bayern have had a strong showing in Belgian coach Vincent Kompany's first season in charge and all factors considered will be odds on favourites to proceed to the last eight.

Bayern Striker Harry Kane has 9 goals in 10 appearances in Europe and his inclusion will offer Bayern a dangerous weapon in attack. Leverkusen on the other hand lost midfielder Florian Wirtz to injury but head coach Xabi Alonso is still adamant his side can achieve the impossible.

"Sometimes, from a big, difficult situation, something epic is created. Tomorrow, it could be an epic game for us. We know it’s not easy, but we must believe,” Alonso said at his pre-match Press Conference.

In Italy, Inter Milan will host Dutch side Feyenoord at the Sam Siro, carrying a two-goal lead having won the first leg 2-0. They will be hoping to make sure of an Italian club in the last 8 after both AC Milan and Atalanta were unceremoniously dumped out during the playoff rounds.
