Onana one of the worst goalkeepers in United history, Matic says

"If you are one of the worst goalkeepers in Man United's history, you need to take care of what you are talking about," said Matic.
Former Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic says that current Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is one of the worst to ever don the club's famous colours.
Matic was responding to a claim by Onana that United are much better than a Lyon outfit who they take on in the UEFA Europa League quarters on Thursday.
Onana said after the Manchester derby on Sunday, which ended on a barren draw, that overcoming Lyon, fifth in Ligue 1, was "not going to be easy, but I think we are way better than them".
Onana has had an up and down time at the Old Trafford club, with some forgettable performances popping up along the way during his three year stay at the club and has come up for criticism on several occasions over his poor displays.
Matic was keen to remind the public of Onana's reputation.
"You know, I respect everyone but to say that then you need to give the answer," said the Serbia international, who also spent time with Chelsea, winning the English Premier League.
"If you are one of the worst goalkeepers in Man United's history, you need to take care of what you are talking about," said Matic.
"If David de Gea or Peter Schmeichel or (Edwin) van der Sar said that, then I would question myself. But if you're one of the statistically worst goalkeepers in Man United's modern history, then he needs to show that before he says anything. We will see."
Lyon and United face off in a two legged affair which will be played tomorrow in France and a week later at Old Trafford in Manchester.
