Museveni’s daughter launches week-long prayers for Buganda

This initiative is part of a nationwide outreach campaign that began in 2022.
Pastor Patience Rwabwogo, the daughter of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and head pastor of Covenant of Nations Church, has announced a major week-long spiritual event titled “Light Up Uganda.”
The event is scheduled to take place at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala from May 19 to 24, 2025.
This initiative is part of a nationwide outreach campaign that began in 2022, with previous events being held in various Ugandan cities including Luwero, Masindi, Gulu, Mbarara, and Tororo.
The Kampala event aims to unite Ugandans through prayer, reflection, and spiritual teachings, welcoming participants from various Christian denominations such as Anglicans, Catholics, Orthodox, and Pentecostals.
The event will feature daily prayer meetings and training sessions.
A notable highlight will be the Men’s Conference on May 19, led by Odrek Rwabwogo, which will focus on leadership, work, and personal relationships.
International and local speakers, including Bishop LaDonna Osborn from the United States, are also expected to take part and provide impactful teachings during the event.
The "Light Up Uganda" campaign is intended to promote unity and spiritual growth across the nation, encouraging participants to come together in faith and foster a stronger sense of community.
