A 15-year-old Swedish boy has been arrested in Sydney, Australia, after allegedly attempting to hire hitmen to kill members of a rival gang in Scandinavia.
Authorities believe the teenager was acting on behalf of a Nordic criminal organization, despite being sent to Australia by his family in a bid to escape gang influence.
According to investigators, the boy continued coordinating violent crimes from abroad, using encrypted messaging platforms to communicate with contacts in Sweden and Denmark.

The boy was denied bail and is currently in custody, with a court hearing scheduled for June.
