In Summary

As Putin’s grip on power continues, his family life remains one of the most closely guarded secrets in Russia—until now.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, known for fiercely guarding his private life, is once again at the center of intrigue following fresh claims that one of his secret sons has been seen publicly for the first time.

According to the Daily Mail, the anti-Kremlin investigative group, the Dossier Center, has revealed new details about the alleged children he shares with former Olympic gold medalist Alina Kabaeva.

According to the investigation, Putin and Kabaeva are believed to have two sons together—Ivan, born in 2015 in Lugano, Switzerland, and a second boy, Vladimir Jr., born in 2019 in Moscow.

These children are reportedly being raised in near-total secrecy and luxury at Putin’s heavily guarded estate near Lake Valdai, a remote location northwest of Moscow.

The Dossier Center claims that the children live in a world far removed from the public eye, surrounded by a team of nannies, private tutors, and personal trainers.

Their education includes learning foreign languages like Chinese, English, and German, and their movements are tightly controlled.

When they travel, it is reportedly only via private jet or armored train, and their holidays are spent on luxury yachts that remain within Russian waters.

What has drawn attention most recently is that one of the boys—believed to be the 10-year-old Ivan—was seen in public for the first time, attending a discreet church service.

Although no official photographs have been released, some observers claim the boy bears a striking resemblance to Putin, sparking speculation that the Russian leader’s youngest family members may soon become harder to conceal.

Putin has never confirmed the existence of these sons, although he has acknowledged having two daughters from his previous marriage to Lyudmila Ocheretnaya.

However, he once made a cryptic remark at a public event, mentioning “little ones” who speak Chinese, prompting many to believe he was referencing his sons with Kabaeva.

There’s even speculation that Ivan is being groomed as a potential successor to Putin’s power, though there is no official confirmation to support this theory.

The Dossier Center emphasized its ethical stance by choosing not to publish photos of the children, despite growing public interest. Meanwhile, state media in Russia remain silent on the issue, and the Kremlin has declined to comment.

As Putin’s grip on power continues, his family life remains one of the most closely guarded secrets in Russia—until now.
