The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially released the placement results for students who applied to join the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in the September 2025 intake.

In a statement issued on Friday, July 18, KUCCPS advised applicants to log into the student portal and check their placement status.

“Update: Placement results for the KMTC September 2025 intake are out. Applicants should log in to the KUCCPS Student Portal to check,” KUCCPS stated.

The release of the results follows the opening of the KUCCPS application portal on June 24, which remained active until July 7.

During that period, prospective students were invited to submit their applications online or visit any Huduma Centre across the country for assistance.

To check the outcome of their application, students are required to visit the KUCCPS student portal at students.kuccps.net.

Once on the portal, applicants must enter their KCSE index number, the year they sat for the exam, and their password.

The password can either be their KCPE index number or birth certificate number. Upon successful login, applicants will see their placement details and confirm whether they secured a spot in a KMTC programme.

KUCCPS indicated that a total of 36 courses were available for selection, covering both diploma and certificate levels. Among the diploma options were Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Public Health, Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Health Counselling, Health Promotion, Kenya Registered Nursing, Mortuary Science, and Optometry.

The certificate-level courses included Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Medical Emergency Technician, Health Insurance Management, and Nutrition and Dietetics.

This placement process is part of KUCCPS’ continued effort to streamline admissions into medical training colleges across the country, ensuring transparency and equal access to healthcare-related education opportunities.
