The Treasury chief said he intends to prove to the MP that he is capable of crafting a solid budget, noting that even counties without any tarmac roads will receive them in the upcoming budget.
"A constituency like Dadaab is set to get its first tarmac road since independence. Yet, when the same individual served as budget chair for two years, he was allocating Sh6 billion to his constituency and Murang’a county," Mbadi remarked.
The CS spoke at Dede Primary School in Awendo sub-county during a fundraising event for spiritual churches in the area.
He was joined by Migori Governor Ochilo Ayacko, Awendo MP Walter Owino, and Principal Secretary for Internal Security Raymond Omollo, all of whom pledged their support for President William Ruto.
