Shortlisted candidates for police commission roles set for July interviews

There are eight candidates shortlisted for the position of Chairperson and 11 for the members.
The Public Service Commission has scheduled interviews for candidates shortlisted for the positions of Chairperson and Member of the National Police Service Commission, following the close of applications announced on May 22, 2025.
There are eight candidates shortlisted for the position of Chairperson and 11 for the members.
Interviews for chairperson candidates will be held on July 1 and July 2, 2025, while member position interviews will take place on July 2 and July 3, 2025, at the Public Service Commission offices on Harambee Avenue.
John Muriithi Waiganjo, William Otieno Oketch, Anne Waceke Makori, Jonathan Lodompuinoon, Simon Nabukwesi, and John O. Konchellah are scheduled to be interviewed on Tuesday, July 1 at different times throughout the day.
Matilda Pamela Aleyo and Amani Yuda Komora will appear on Wednesday, July 2 at 9 am and 10 am respectively.
Four candidates for the member post—Ahmed Mohamed A, Buluma Bwire, Elizabeth Mueni Kimulu, and Maina Njoroge—will be interviewed on July 2 at different times.
The remaining seven—Daniel Mwangi Karomo, Adan W. Kabelo, Angeline Yiamiton Siparo, Wayongó Cyril Simiyu, Musangi Jane Mutua, Parmain Ole Narikae, and Shaabnan Ali Isaack—will be interviewed on July 3, also at different times.
Shortlisted candidates are required to report to the venue at least 20 minutes before their scheduled time.
They are also reminded to carry original copies of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates, transcripts, testimonials, and any other supporting documents.
In addition, they must present current and valid clearances from the Kenya Revenue Authority, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Higher Education Loans Board, any registered credit reference bureau, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance Certificate), and where applicable, recognition of foreign degrees from the Commission for University Education and recommendations from relevant professional bodies.
Members of the public have been invited to submit any credible information concerning the shortlisted candidates through sworn affidavits addressed to the Selection Panel Chairperson via email ([email protected]) or by visiting the Office of the Secretary/CEO, Public Service Commission, 4th Floor, Commission House, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi, by June 30, 2025.
