Ruto-Raila partnership should continue until 2032, says PS Omollo

Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has endorsed the recent pact between President William Ruto and opposition chief Raila Odinga.
Omollo reiterated the agreement’s importance to Kenya’s development, expressing hope that the collaboration between Raila Odinga and President William Ruto would extend until 2032 for the nation’s benefit.
Speaking on Saturday, March 15, 2025, Omollo emphasized the importance of the pact, describing it as a vital opportunity for Kenya’s progress.
"Our MPs are very clear in terms of how we are moving forward as a country, we know that the president one week ago, signed the memorandum of understanding with ODM leader Raila Odinga and they have agreed on working together," said Omollo.
He further expressed his support for the Ruto-Raila pact partnership, stressing the need for unity among all Kenyans.
"What we must take out of that is that they are giving us a good opportunity to push this country forward, we are not leaving any part of this country behind," he said.
"And this will be the way to go, not just until 2027 but up to 2032.”
