Kalonzo writes to Raila over NADCO report implementation

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka now reveals he has written a letter to ODM chief Raila Odinga, calling for a smooth implementation of the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report.
In the letter, Kalonzo stressed that while the shortlisting of candidates for IEBC positions had been completed, ensuring transparency and fairness in the selection of commissioners remained essential.
Speaking at a wedding ceremony in Limuru, the Wiper chief argued that Raila's respect pact with President William Ruto could jeopardize the process of reconstituting the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
"I thought Raila would be on my side throughout, but now I have written to him because we must put things straight so that we cannot have confusion,” Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo also criticized President Ruto’s leadership style, accusing him of neglecting key issues affecting Kenyans, while also expressing concern over the deteriorating state of education and the rising cases of abductions in the country.
He also urged the government to comply with court rulings and provide proof that the two Adani agreements were indeed revoked, as directed by President Ruto.
Despite a public pronouncement by the president, Kalonzo says, the government is yet to provide documents proving the deal was terminated.
