Singapore 7s: Shujaa ready to face Spain in main cup semis

Kenya Sevens National team Shujaa will take on Spain in the main cup semifinals at the Singapore Sevens Competition on Sunday morning.
The Rugby boys brought back memories of their sole main cup triumph at the HSBC Sevens with a 10-7 win over Olympic champions France seeing them into the final four.
Kenya has great memories of Singapore, having won the country's only Sevens series title at the National Stadium in Kalang in 2016 with victory over Fiji.
Kickoff in the semis will be at 9:34 am local time.
In the second cup semi-final, Argentina take on Fiji.
On Saturday, Captain Vincent Onyala scored Shujaa's try after three minutes for a 5-0 lead with Nigel Amaitsa converting for Kenya to make it 7-0 at half time.
The French hit back in the second half through Joe Querre Karaba four minutes in before Amaitsa scored at the death with the final play of the game from a drop kick.
Kenya beat Ireland 17-7 earlier Saturday and with the two results means that they lead Group B and will take part in the Cup Semis for the first time this season, a feat head coach Kevin Wambua is looking forward to.
"We are elated to be here. We take on Spain. Anything is possible from there. We will give our best just like today," he said ahead of the clash.
Following Singapore, the final leg of the series will take place in Los Angeles, where the list of attendees for the 2025/26 season will be known.
