International Friendly Preview: Kenya V Chad

It will be the second time in a matter of days that the two sides are meeting after drawing 0-0 in their first clash at the Marrakech Stadium Annexe on Saturday.
Kenya's national team, Harambee Stars take on their rivals from Chad in an international friendly match this evening in Marrakech, Morocco.
It will be the second time in a matter of days that the two sides are meeting after drawing 0-0 in their first clash at the Marrakech Stadium Annexe on Saturday.
Saturday's clash was an exercise in playing against a deep-lying defensive unit as far as Harambee Stars are concerned.
The Chad outfit simply went for a defensive formation, with the express intention of stifling the talented Kenyans in attack.
The twin-friendly matches have been set up with the sole purpose of helping Kenya's inexperienced players pick up some competitive minutes ahead of the African Nations Championships CHAN, which Kenya will be co-hosting together with their neighbours Uganda and Tanzania.
Head coach Benni McCarthy as a result, is expected to ring the changes ahead of the clash. In goal, it is expected that Faruk Shikhalo will play, with Brian Bwire having featured on Saturday.
Sylvester Owino and Lewis Bandi, who didn't feature on the weekend from the onset, could get minutes in defence, with the likes of Austin Odhiambo and Emmanuel Osoro also likely to pick up minutes as McCarthy tries different formations.
Kenya are ranked 111, with Chad in position 177 in the FIFA World Rankings.
The match will kick off at 8 pm Kenyan time.
