Defending Kenya Premier League Champions Kenya Police FC has landed a sizeable financial boost following the announcement of a Sh25 million sponsorship deal from Co-operative Bank of Kenya for the 2025/2026 season.

The partnership, unveiled on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in Nairobi, will see Co-operative Bank become the official shirt sponsor of the law enforcers’ side throughout the season.

The funds will be directed towards player welfare, technical support, logistics, and youth development structures.

According to officials from both entities, the sponsorship underscores the growing confidence that corporate Kenya is placing in football as a vehicle for social impact and brand visibility.

Speaking during the unveiling, Kenya Police FC patron PS Raymond Omollo expressed optimism that the support would not only strengthen the club’s competitiveness in the Kenya Premier League but also contribute to nurturing young talent.

"We are thankful to our partners for supporting this initiative to support this amazing team as it prepares to defend its title this season and make progress in the Champions League, he said.

Kenya Police FC earned the right to represent Kenya in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League after winning the 2024/25 FKF Premier League.

Police FC will face Al Hilal Omdurman) from Sudan in the Second Preliminary Round of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League, after knocking out Mogadishu City Club in the first round preliminary qualifier, 3-3 on aggregate, progressing on away goals.
