Harambee Stars edged out Burundi 1–0 in Bujumbura on Thursday evening, with Ryan Ogam scoring the decisive goal in the penultimate round of the FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
The hosts were reduced to 10 men early on after striker Caleb Bimenyimana was shown a red card in the third minute following a collision with Kenyan goalkeeper Bryan Okoth, who had to be stretchered off.
