In Summary

Gor Mahia Chairperson Ambrose Rachier told Gor Mahia FC's X account that there would be a discussion amongst the club's leadership over the issues faced by the technical bench and a resolution sought.

Gor Mahia coach Sinisa Mihic says that he and members of his technical bench have resolved a row amongst them that threatened to derail their Kenya Premier League title ambitions.

Earlier this month, Mihic kicked his assistant coaches Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno and Michael Nam out of training, accusing them of sabotage.

More recently, during the 1-1 home draw with Sofapaka at the Dandora Stadium, Mihic was sent off by the centre referee for dissent and afterwards he stormed out of the stadium not to return.

Earlier this month, he had said: "I don't want to work with them because I do not want to be blackmailed. I even lent them money. I have used my personal money to facilitate some of the activities we have. Why are they trying to sabotage me?"

He continued with the attack on his assistants, saying in no uncertain terms would he field players he does not want.

"I can't out of influence play those who are not following instructions. Kenyan players are even better than some of those they are asking me to play. I've never seen anything like this," he stated.

Mihic following the Sofapaka clash, again accused some forces of negativity around the team for frustrating his efforts to get Gor playing and winning efficiently, but ahead of their KPL clash with Talanta FC tomorrow, the Serbia-born coach says that all is now well.

"Sometimes we react with emotion when the situation is stressful. That is normal for human beings. Now we have trained and we have spoken as a team with the players and the staff, and we are working hard now, focused on winning on Thursday," he said in a pre-match press conference.

Gor Mahia Chairperson Ambrose Rachier told Gor Mahia FC's X account that there would be a discussion amongst the club's leadership over the issues faced by the technical bench and a resolution sought.

"We will discuss it. We have a meeting on Wednesday where we plan to discuss and address this issue that is happening all the time," Rachier said.

Gor take on Talanta at the Dandora Stadium Thursday, as they look to trim a four point gap behind leaders Tusker FC.

Tusker lead the way with 51 points, Kenya Police follow with 49 while Gor have 47, having played a game less and thus a win is vital, especially considering there will be only seven rounds of matches left after they play Talanta.
