Originating from Gqeberha, the duo first gained popularity through viral performances shared on social media, eventually making their mark on both local and international stages, including a major set at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Their rise has been marked by energetic performances and two acclaimed albums: A Fierce Piano and Turn Off the Lights.

In response to their historic nomination, the duo shared their excitement and pride: "We are honoured to be nominated at the BET Awards, especially as the first female DJ duo. It gives us a seat at the global table and shows that South African culture and sound are being recognised around the world."
