Making the announcement, Cabinet Secretary for Co-operatives and MSMEs, Wycliffe Oparanya also said the funds will stimulate economic growth in the area.
Speaking during the disbursement ceremony, CS Oparanya said from the fund 3.1 million shillings was from the Uwezo Fund, 2.8 million shillings from the Youth Fund, and 2 million shillings from the Women Enterprise Fund, bringing the total to 7.9 million shillings.
He encouraged beneficiaries to utilize the funds prudently to enhance their livelihoods and contribute to local development.
