According to a media release dated October 8, 2025, KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome has urged institutions to submit their programs through the KUCCPS online placement system.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has called on universities and colleges to submit their courses and available capacities for next year’s student intake.

According to a media release dated October 8, 2025, KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome has urged institutions to submit their programs through the KUCCPS online placement system.

The process is known as the Declaration of Programmes and Capacities.

According to KUCCPS, the declaration of programmes and capacities will run from October 6 to October 31, 2025, as the agency prepares for the 2025 KCSE cohort and other qualified candidates from previous years.

In a communication to Vice-Chancellors and Principals of University Colleges, Dr. Wahome emphasized that the submitted courses must be currently offered and officially accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE) or the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) for TVET institutions.

“Please note that the declared programmes must be those currently offered by your institution and duly accredited by the relevant bodies,” Dr. Wahome said.

KUCCPS has also written to National Polytechnics, Technical and Vocational Colleges, Technical Training Institutes, Institutes of Technology, and Teacher Training Colleges, asking them to submit their approved programmes and training capacities.

Additionally, the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has been requested to submit its accredited courses and capacities for publication in the upcoming 2026 placement cycle.

The placement service noted that a similar request to the Kenya School of Law earlier this year resulted in full enrollment for the Diploma in Law (Paralegal Studies), which was listed on the KUCCPS system for the first time.

The initiative is part of KUCCPS’s ongoing effort to ensure a smooth and transparent placement process across universities and tertiary institutions nationwide.
