Rihanna turned heads and stole the spotlight at the Met Gala with more than just her fashion — the music and fashion icon revealed she’s pregnant with her third child, sending fans and photographers into a frenzy as she proudly debuted her baby bump in New York City.
The singer, who is known for bold pregnancy announcements, revealed her growing belly in a casual outfit before changing into a Marc Jacobs suit for the event.
She cradled her bump and smiled for photographers at the benefit gala, which marks the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibit.
A$AP Rocky, who served as a co-chair at the Met Gala, later confirmed the news while walking the red carpet.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you," he said to reporters offering congratulations. "I'm glad everybody's happy for us because we're definitely happy," he added.
The couple, already parents to two sons, welcomed their first child, RZA, in May 2022, and their second son, Riot, in August 2023.
Rihanna arrived last at the star-studded event, themed "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style."
This year’s Met Gala focused solely on menswear for the first time since 2003. Celebrities, as usual, appeared in unique and creative outfits that matched the annual theme.
"It's time to just show the people what we were cooking up," A$AP Rocky told reporters, hinting at the couple’s big reveal.
