Nyandarua Woman Kills Husband, sets body Ablaze

Police in Nyandarua County are searching for a woman who is said to have killed her husband and set his body ablaze.

According to County Commissioner Jardesa Abdikadir, 36-year-old John Maina met his death after an argument with his wife, a dispute that led to the latter slashing him in several parts before setting him on fire and fleeing.

The incident happened at the Canary Village, Shamata Ward in Aberdare, Nyandarua County.

Abdikadir said The body of the deceased has been moved to the Nyahururu County Referral Hospital morgue pending further investigations over the bizarre incident.

The woman is still at large.
