Kenya Police FC are the 2025 Kenya Premier League champions.

Police, who needed only one point from their final two matches to earn their first-ever title, beat a determined Shabana 1-0 at the Machakos Stadium on Sunday thanks to a Brian Okoth header on 78 minutes, as they dethroned Gor Mahia, who won last season's title.

With the three points, Police have 64 points from 33 matches played. They lead second-place Gor Mahia by six points. Gor saw off Ulinzi Stars 3-2 at the Ulinzi Stadium to take their points tally to 58 points.

Tusker FC are third with 56 points. They could only manage a barren draw against Kariobangi Sharks at the Ruaraka Grounds.

Police were the better side from kick off as they pushed hard to get on the scoresheet and secure three points to avoid a last-day-of-the-season decider against Gor and Okoth's powerful header was enough for the three points.

They will be awarded the KPL title next week following their clash with Gor.
