The Premier League has officially released the full fixture list for the 2025/26 season, with fans treated to a thrilling opening weekend featuring some of the league’s biggest rivalries and returns.

The campaign kicks off on Friday 15 August as Liverpool welcome Bournemouth under the Anfield lights.

The headline clash of the weekend sees Manchester United host Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday 17 August, promising early fireworks between two top-four contenders.

Newly promoted sides Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland will mark their return to the top flight with tricky openers.

Leeds take on Everton, Burnley face Spurs, while Sunderland travel to West Ham—each hoping to make a strong start.

Key derbies have also been scheduled: the Manchester Derby will first be played on 13 September at the Etihad, with the reverse on 17 January.

The North London Derby lands on 22 November, while the Tyne–Wear Derby makes a dramatic comeback as Sunderland host Newcastle on 13 December.

This season also sees no matches on 24 December, offering a rare festive break.

The final round of games is set for Sunday 24 May 2026, with all matches kicking off simultaneously.

Meanwhile, the Premier League introduces semi-automated offside technology and PUMA as the new official match ball partner—marking a fresh chapter in the league’s innovation.
