The President announced a Sh4 million contribution towards the renovation of the church’s roof, citing health risks associated with the existing asbestos material.

President William Ruto has promised to provide a new bus to the Church of Christ in Africa (CCA) Makadara, Nairobi, in support of its ministry work.

Alongside the bus pledge, the President also announced a Sh4 million contribution towards the renovation of the church’s roof, citing health risks associated with the existing asbestos material.

"I’ve heard your appeal. Give me about two to three weeks to get the bus built and branded with the CCA name. I’ll make sure it’s delivered to support the church’s mission," Ruto said.

"I’ve been informed the roof repairs require between Sh3 and Sh4 million. I’ve agreed to assist, and before I leave today, I’ll meet with your treasurer to finalise the matter."

President William Ruto emphasized that the government has prohibited the use of asbestos due to its harmful health effects.

He also donated Sh1 million to facilitate the transportation of church members to an upcoming event in Kisumu, an amount that will complement the Sh500,000 contribution made earlier by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.

In addition, the President pledged to organize an empowerment fundraiser for Nairobi County, urging leaders to begin preparations and ensure all wards are represented.

Ruto attended the church service alongside Governor Sakaja and other Nairobi County officials.

During his remarks, the President commended former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for backing the national unity agenda, noting that such cooperation would accelerate the country's progress.

He further reiterated his dedication to serving the nation, dismissing mounting opposition criticism.

"I’m committed, determined, and focused. No amount of intimidation or name-calling will stop me. I have the time and resolve to deliver," Ruto declared.

"This country is on the brink of transformation, and that’s why there’s so much resistance but I don’t listen to the noise," President Ruto remarked.
